Career Katta is an ambitious initiative Program by the Maharashtra State Department
of Higher and Technical Education and the Maharashtra Information Technology
Support Center (MITSC) with a student focus in mind. Career Katta is working with
the idea that students in the higher education sector should have equal opportunities
for guidance while we all prepare to prove ourselves in the global competition once
again after the corona pandemic. In these activities, administrative officers,
successful entrepreneurs, as well as various experts are providing guidance to the
students. Efforts are being made to have incubation centers in every college as per
the policy of the state government and the central government with the aim that the
hands that create jobs rather than the hands that seek jobs come in front of people.
Along with this, efforts are also being made under the initiative to have a Model Skill
Development Center in every college. It will also help in assessment through many
activities like Incubation Center, various MoUs, employment opportunities, Skill
Development Center and proper guidance to students to prepare for competitive
exams in your college. This activity has been designed in such a way. The joint
director of Higher Education, principal and coordinator of various departments of
education in the state should be successful in the effort to reduce the rural-urban
divide. Meritorious students who are ready to work hard for good employment,
business and job opportunities only because of geographical limitations or lack of
