• One day Students Solar Ambassador Workshop: On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Khandesh College Education Society Jalgaon and 150th birth anniversary of father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, School of Physical sciences have organized a one day Students Solar Ambassador Workshop on 2nd October 2019 with an aim to sensitize the young generations who will be bearing the maximum burden of climate change. The workshop is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai with an objective to spread the theme of non-violence towards environment. Department of physics and electronics has successfully planned and organized Students Solar Ambassador Workshop in the college premises. 100 students were registered and benefited for the same and were sensitized towards use of clean energy and importance of solar energy.

• National Conference on Nanostructured and Amorphous Materials: Synthesis, Characterization and Application (NAM-RAMAn:2020) : On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Khandesh College Education Society Jalgaon and Moolji Jaitha College Jalgaon, School of Physical Sciences organized a National Conference on Nanostructured and Amorphous Materials: Synthesis, Characterization and Application (NAM-RAMAN:2020) on 28th – 29th February 2020. The aim of the conference was to create research awareness among the students. Also it was a platform for budding researchers to discuss and share the research ideas among themselves using oral and poster presentations. In all more than 100 researchers have participated for the conference. 60 researchers have presented their research work orally and 20 researchers have presented their research work by using posters. In this conference, reputed six eminent personalities have been invited for delivering lectures on nano technology and its applicaions. Prof. Ashok Joshi, Microlin L.L.C., USA who has given a keynote address on invention, innovation and success. Dr. D. P. Amalnerkar, Former Director General, C-MET, Pune has given a lecture on Silk-fibroin-noble metal based bio nano composite.Prof. Dr. M. A. More, Department of Physics, Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune was delivered a talk on Characterization techniques. Prof. Dr. Rajaram Mane, Swami Ramanand Tirth Marathwada University Nanded discussed a topic on Nanotechnology of high energy and high power storage devices. Prof. Dr. Sanjay Dhole, Department of Physics, Savitribai Phule University Pune has delivered a lecture on Nuclear batteries and Prof. Dr. B. L. Chaudhari, School of Life Sciences, Kavayitri Bhahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University Jalgaon delivered a talk on a Positive interaction of nanoparticles on probiotic culture. It was a feast of knowledge for the students and budding researchers.

• RAMAN: 2020 poster competition: We celebrate 28th February of every year as “National Science Day” to commemorate the discovery of famous Raman Effect in 1928. On the occasion of National science day celebration a poster competition ‘RAMAN: 2020’ have been organized on 28th February 2020 for the students to explorer their research talent. The competition was open for all the students of M. J. College Jalgaon. The theme of the poster competition was the importance of science used in the daily life of the people and the work done by Prof. Sir. C. V. Raman. In all more than 50 students presented posters on applications of the work done by Prof. Sir. C. V. Raman used in day to day life of human being. To encourage the presentation skill among the students, college offers, three best presentation awards with prizes, Rs. 3000, 2000 and 1000 respectively.
