Hindi Day Program
Dr. Bhupendra Kesur, Director, School OF Language, was present as the Chief Guest in the program organized by Hindi Department on the occasion of Hindi Day on 14th September 2019. Dr. BhupendraKesur told the students that they have to give an idea of how capable Hindi language is as a means of employment and create different opportunities in the field of communication, media, administration, business world, film world, television series, translation, internet.
In this program, students of Hindi department recited poems expressing the importance of Hindi language and expressed their thoughts. Prof. Vijay Lohar and Dr. Manoj Mahajan shared their thoughts on new opportunities and literary skills in Hindi language. The program was chaired by Dr. RoshniPawar and moderated by AkshayGhumre.
Hindi General Knowledge Contest
On the occasion of Hindi Week, a general knowledge competition was organized in the college on 16th September jointly by Hindi Department and Bank of Baroda. The competition was based on Hindi and literature. The winners and all the participating students were honored at the Bank of Baroda's annual awards ceremony held at the grounds of Eklavya Sports Complex.
Guest lecture
On 07th January 2020, a guest lecture was organized by Dr. Shakir Sheikh, Alumni of Hindi Department and Head of Hindi Department of Poona College. He guided the students on ‘Hindi and Employment Opportunities’.
World Hindi Day Program
The Hindi Department organized a program on the occasion of World Hindi Day on 10th January 2020. In this program, the students of Hindi department expressed their thoughts on the Hindi Day of World Hindi Language. Prof. Vijay Lohar and Dr. Manoj Mahajan spoke on the growing importance of Hindi language in the world and the work done in this regard.
Spontaneous speech competition
On 16th January 2020, a short speech competition was organized jointly by Hindi Department and Bank of Baroda. 10 different subjects were selected for this competition. Bank of Baroda Regional Manager AD Sharma was present on the occasion. He guided the students on the importance of language experimentation in human life, values in literature and social life. The event was honored at the annual awards ceremony. Dr. BhupendraKesur, Director, School of Language was present as the Chief Guest and Dr. RoshniPawar was the President. Sukanya Devi, Official Language Officer, Bank of Baroda was also present on the occasion. The program was moderated by Prof. Vijay Lohar and the vote of thanks was given by Dr. Manoj Mahajan.
one day workshop
On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the AmritMahotsavi year of KCE Society, a one day workshop on 'Mahatma Gandhi and Hindi Propaganda' was jointly organized by the Department of Hindi, MJ College and Gandhi Research Foundation, Jalgaon on 12th March 2020. . '
During the workshop, first of all, all the participating students were shown a museum based on Gandhi's life. After that, Mr. AshwinJhala, Coordinator, Gandhi Gandhi Research Foundation, gave invaluable guidance to the students on the life of Gandhi and his work, the work of propagating the national language of Mahatma Gandhi. The workshop was chaired by Dr. RoshniPawar. The program was moderated by Prof. Vijay Lohar and the vote of thanks was given by Dr. Manoj Mahajan.
Sendoff Ceremony
Sendoff ceremony of MA second year and third year art students of Hindi department was held on 13th March, 2020. At the ceremony, MA second year students expressed their views and thanked the college and professors for their cooperation. The program was planned by
