About Event:
Intelligence and thinking capacity is the most powerful gift to human beings. We feel that, students must be provided with an opportunity to convert their intelligence into good utility. Software is very effective mean of intellectual creation. Hence PEC forum (Physics, Electronics and Computer) had provided an opportunity to students to exhibit their skills and creation at IMPACT 2006.

IMPACT 2006 was a mega event with teams from various part of Maharashtra. Also we have remarkable number of visitors. With the same spirit IMPACT 2009 was organized and become popular in students, visitors and Software developers who have visited the exhibition. This overwhelming response from young talent in IT field encourage us to organize IMPACT 2010 with new innovations and ideas.

Special Mention:
The Event will have presence of many leading software professionals from agencies and IT industry to explore the probable potential talent for bright placement aspects.

• To facilitated exchange of thoughts and ideas.
• To motivate students to think and work in a group and make a cohesive and effective presentation of their talent.

Call For Entries:
We invite entries in the form of complete functional Software from young talented energetic dare-devils.

Registration:
A duly completed Registration Form furnished herewith may be submitted along with registration fees of Rs.500 per team by a demand draft in favor of “Principal, Moolji Jaitha College”, payable at Jalgaon so as to reach latest by 9th February 2010.

Up to Two participant.

1. Under-graduate students
2. Post-graduate students (Any Faculty)

Accomodation:
Moderate accomodation will be arranged for students and food will be provided in college campus on reasonable payment basis.

Guidelines For Submission:

• Last date for sending software is 30th January 2010.
• Participant should submit software along with short abstract.
• Mention of the operating system, front-end and back-end tool used and the utility of the software along with the submission is necessary.

How to submit Soft Copy?:
Option 1: Electronic Submission - Please send your soft copy via e-mail to mjcollege@kces.in or mjcimpact@kces.in
Option 2: By hand or by post - Please send your softcopy on CD to Head, Department of Computer Science & Information Technology, M. J. College, Jalgaon.
Note:  PowerPoint presentation about your software can be made at the time of exhibition for which bringing the presentation on CD .

Rules:

1. A team can have two participants.
2. The participants must be bonafied students of any College/ Institutes/ Universities within Maharashtra.
3. Any number of teams from a College/Institues can participates.
4. A team can have maximum one entry.
5. The work should be original. If the s/w is found to be copies from any other means, entry will be disqualied.
6. Bring all the s/w code, EXE file for evaluation.
7. The decision of the Judge shall be final and binding on all participants.
8. Judges will evaluate each project in 15-30 minutes.
